Plan Monrovia is a project championed by the Monrovia City Council. City Manager Laurie Lile, who has served as City Manager since April 2012, has been tasked, along with the Monrovia Idea Team representing each City Department, with implementing the plan and seeing it through.

The Monrovia City Council is tasked with prioritizing community programs and services for the 2013-2015 budget. They welcome your feedback. As Monrovia moves forward in the Strategic Planning process, the Council will look to citizen input in goal-setting and budgeting for the next five years.

MIT 9 is made up of representatives from each City Department, along with the Strategic Planning Consultant. The MIT 9 team is tasked with putting together information gleaned from this website, community workshops, employee workshops, phone calls, texts, emails and surveys.
